My name is Helena Jole and I’ve been living in the Tacoma, Washington area since 2000. My husband and I have two kids and a cat.
I originally learned Korean when I went to South Korea as a missionary for a year and a half. After I got back I continued studying and minored in Korean at Brigham Young University. I’ve been able to go back to Korea several times and stay connected with friends there. I have a deep love for the Korean language and people, and I love being able to share the language with others.

Family trip in 2017 (the kids are a lot bigger now).
Locally I’m known for doing the set painting for church stage productions, and for making really good pretzels.
